In 2020, China's crude salt imports and exports will decline

 According to the latest customs data, in December 2020, China's crude salt import volume was 656200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 15.36%; in December, China's crude salt export volume was 73800 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 33.62%. From January to December, the import volume of raw salt in China was 5.7658 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 24.56%; the export volume of raw salt was 4689 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 33.78%.  

From the perspective of countries, in December 2020, the top three countries and regions in China's raw salt import volume are: India 326100 tons, accounting for 49.70%; Australia 309600 tons, accounting for 47.18%; Mexico 18700 tons, accounting for 2.85%. The top three countries and regions in export volume are: Japan 46100 tons, accounting for 62.37%; South Korea 13500 tons, accounting for 18.28%; Bangladesh 4700 tons, accounting for 6.35%.  
 
From January to December, China's top three countries and regions in raw salt import volume were: India 3.5242 million tons, accounting for 61.12%; Australia 1.6911 million tons, accounting for 29.33%; Mexico 535500 tons, accounting for 9.29%. The top three countries and regions in export volume are: Japan 2213000 tons, accounting for 47.20%; South Korea 85500 tons, accounting for 18.22%; Bangladesh 70000 tons, accounting for 14.92%.
