The downstream alumina industry is producing normally, and its ability to digest liquid caustic soda is stable. However, due to the continuous low market operation, the operation of lowering the price of purchasing liquid caustic soda is obvious. This week, the order price of 32% liquid caustic soda purchased by alumina enterprises in Shandong Province has been lowered twice in a row, with a cumulative reduction of 60 yuan/ton, which has a certain negative impact on the local and surrounding liquid caustic soda markets, and the liquid caustic soda markets in North China and East China have followed suit. In addition, the sustained moderate demand of most other downstream alkali-consuming industries and the downward adjustment of foreign trade export order prices are all negative for the domestic liquid alkali trend to some extent.
